The Insider Stories Morning Notes - JCI likely to be mixed, Brexit vote may still pressure market

JAKARTA (TheInsiderStories) - Indonesian shares are expected to be mixed today (June 27) with potential to rebound later in the day on technical rebound following last week’s steep decline, pressured by Brexit vote results in UK.

Analyst Asjaya Indosurya Securities William Surya Wijaya said technically the JCI is expected to move within support level of 4,802 and resistance level of 4,904 points.

He said market players are expected to remain cautious on the impact of the Brexit vote, with some may scale down their shares trading. However, he and some market analysts believe that the impact of Brexit vote should be temporary.

On Friday, the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) closed down 0.82 percent at 4,834.57 points. Throughout the week, , the JCI edged lower only 0.01 percent, indicating the impact of Brexit vote is limited.

Among stocks to watch: JSMR, UNVR, AKRA, LPPF, ANTM, BSDE.
