JAKARTA (TheInsiderStories) – The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) on Tuesday’s trading (4/23) closed up 0.75 percent or 48.08 points at 6,462.82 from Monday’s trade (4/22) which closed down 1.42 percent or 92.48 points to 6,414.74.
Yesterday, shares of PT Menteng Heritage Realty Tbk (IDX: HRME) posted the biggest price increase after closing down 24.46 percent at Rp580 a piece. The next tstrongest position was the shares of PT Mahaka Media Tbk (IDX: ABBA), which rose 14.97 percent and closed at Rp169 each.
Otherwise, PT Trisula International Tbk (IDX: TRIS) shares posted the deepest price decline on Tuesday, after closing down 24.81 percent at Rp200 per share. Followed by PT Arthavest Tbk (IDX: ARTA) shares which dropped 24.11 percent at the level of Rp406 a piece.
PT Jasa Marga Tbk (IDX: JSMR)
State-owned toll road operator was able to pocketed a net profit of Rp584.83 billion (US$41.77 million) in the first quarter (1Q) of 2019, a slight increased compared to the 1Q of 2018 which was recorded at Rp582.99 billion. But, JSMR’ revenues declined 20.76 percent to Rp7.64 trillion.
PT Bank Permata Tbk (IDX: BNLI)
The publicly listed bank posted a net profit of Rp377 billion in 1Q of 2019, shot 131 percent compared to the same period in 2018. The profit was surged amid a declining in reserve costs by 71 percent to Rp133 billion compared to Rp465 billion in the 1Q of 2018.
PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk (IDX: BDMN)
The lender recorded a profit in the 1Q of 2019 amounting to Rp933 billion, lowered compared to the same period in 2018 which amounted to Rp1.04 trillion. The profit declined was due to net interest income which fell by 2 percent to Rp 3.54 trillion from the same period in 2018.
PT Timah Tbk (IDX: TINS)
The miner budgeted a capital expenditure of Rp2.58 trillion for this year, up from last year’ spending realization Rp1.18 trillion, lower then target Rp2.3 trillion. The capital expenditure will be used to increase production capacity through the construction of a smelter for processing low grade minerals.
PT Puradelta Lestari Tbk (IDX: DMAS)
Issuer of industrial estate developer distributed cash dividends of Rp1.01 trillion or Rp21 per share to shareholders. The dividend distribution has considered the amount of funds to be used for capital expenditure and the company’s operational activities.
For today, PT Indosurya Bersinar Sekuritas assessed that the ongoing capital inflow is a positive sentiment towards the JCI movement. It said, JCI has the potential to strengthen at the level of 6,402 to 6,586.
The shares that can still be seen are PT Kalbe Farma Tbk (IDX: KLBF), PT Mayora Indah Tbk (MYOR), PT Nippon Indosari Corpindo (IDX: ROTI), PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk (IDX: UNVR), PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk ( IDX: INDF), PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk (IDX: ICBP), PT HM Sampoerna Tbk (IDX: HMSP), PT Sri Rejeki Isman Tbk (IDX: SRIL) and PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (IDX: TLKM).
