Indonesian Stock to Watch on Tuesday, April 30

JAKARTA (TheInsiderStories) – The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) closed up 0.39 percent or 24.81 points to 6,425.89 on Monday (04/29), from the previous trading which closed up 0.44 percent or 28.29 points to 6,401.08.

Top Gainers

The top gainers on Tuesday is PT Meta Epsi Tbk (IDX: MTPS) shares after closing 25 percent to the level of Rp1,375 a piece and touched the automatic rejection limit. Secondly, was the share of PT Trimuda Nuansa Citra Tbk (IDX: TNCA), which rose 21.48 percent and closed to Rp328 each.

Top Losers

While, the shares of PT Charnic Capital Tbk (IDX: NICK) posted the deepest price declined after closing down 19.88 percent or 68 points to the level of Rp274 a piece. Followed by PT Sanurhasta Mitra Tbk (IDX: MINA) shares slumped 19.09 percent or 230 points to Rp975.


The bank owned by Singapore’ OCBC Bank posted a net profit Rp765 billion (US$53.87 million) in 2018, or rose 15 percent from the same period last year of Rp663 billion. The bank’ assets also increased 10 percent to Rp177.5 trillion from a year ago Rp161.6 trillion.

PT Indika Energy Tbk (IDX: INDY)

The coal miner’ net profit declined 79.95 percent in the first quarter of 2019 to $11.7 million from prior year amounted to $58.38 million. The company’ sales also fell 13.39 percent on an annual basis to $700.73 million.

PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (IDX: BMRI)

The state-owned bank’ net profit rose by 23.4 percent to Rp7.2 trillion in the first quarter of 2019, from the same period of last year Rp5.9 trillion. The increased in the lender’ net profit was supported by a rise in net interest income which grew 9.07 percent to Rp14.38 trillion, and a decrease in reserves by 28.09 percent to Rp 2.76 trillion in the first three months of this year.

PT XL Axiata Tbk (IDX: EXCL)

Telecommunications provider allocated capital expenditure of Rp7.5 trillion in this year, up from Rp6.8 trillion in 2018. The funding source for capital expenditure comes from internal cash and bond issuances and is intended for infrastructure development outside Java and fiberization in Java.

PT Permodalan Nasional Madani

The state-owned financial company ready to offer sustainable bonds with an emissions target of Rp6 trillion. The first phase of the emissions is targeted at Rp2 trillion offered starting April 29 to May 8.

PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk (IDX: LPKR)

A unit of Lippo Group has completed the sale of shares in two health care joint venture companies in Myanmar. Sales were made to OUE Lippo Healthcare Limited (OUELH) with a total value of $19.5 million.
