JAKARTA (TheInsiderStories) – The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) closed up 0.46 percent to 6,455.35 on Tuesday (4/30) from the previous trading which closed up 0.39 percent at 6,425.89.
Two gainers on Tuesday’ trading are PT MD Pictures Tbk (IDX: FILM) and PT Visi Telekomunikasi Infrastruktur Tbk (IDX: GOLD) shares, which rose 25 percent to Rp1100 a piece and to Rp575 each, respectively.
While, PT Pool Advista Indonesia Tbk (IDX: POOL) and PT Perdana Bangun Pusaka Tbk (IDX: KONI) posted the deepest price decline after closing down 23.67 percent to Rp2,160 per share and 21.9 percent to Rp214 a piece.
PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (IDX: TLKM)
State- own telecommunication company profit decreased 18.57 percent to Rp18.03 trillion (US$1.27 billion) on an annual basis from Rp22.14 trillion in 2017. The declining due to an increase in the company’ operating expenses by 12.5 percent to Rp71.6 trillion in line with investment in broadband infrastructure development, both mobile and fixed line.
PT PP Tbk (IDX: PTPP)
The construction issuers distributed cash dividends of Rp48.45 each or Rp300 billion for fiscal year 2018. This dividend covers 20 percent of the 2018 net profit which reached Rp1.50 trillion, grew by 3.36 percent from Rp1.45 trillion in 2017 .
PT Gudang Garam Tbk (IDX: GGRM)
The cigarette maker recorded a profit of Rp2.36 trillion in the first quarter of 2019, growing by 24.4 percent compared to the same period the previous year of Rp1.89 trillion. This profit came from the company’s earnings of 19.18 percent to Rp26.2 trillion.
PT Bukaka Teknik Utama (IDX: BUKK)
Non-construction firm aimed to post revenues of Rp6.52 trillion in 2019, up by 39.39 percent from the realization of 2018 totaling Rp4.68 trillion. Bukaka also targeted a net profit of Rp668.26 billion in 2019, rise 16.62 percent from 2018 at Rp573.01 billion.
PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk (IDX: INDF)
Unit of Salim Group recorded a profit of Rp1.35 trillion, or lift up 13.53 percent in the first quarter of 2019. This profit came from net sales of Rp19.17 trillion, rose 8.73 percent on an annual basis.
PT Adaro Energy Tbk (IDX: ADRO)
Coal mining issuers allocate capital expenditure as much as $650 million this year or lower than last year’ amount $900 million. Most of this funds will be allocated for the development of the Adaro MetCoal coal mine and the rejuvenation of heavy equipment. Funding sources for capital expenditure are from the company’s internal cash and bank loans.
For today Reliance Sekuritas rated that JCI will continue to increase in today’s trading in level 6,420-6,500. Several stocks that can be monitored are PT PP London Sumatra Tbk (IDX:LSIP), PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk (IDX:AALI), PT Charoen Pokhphand Indonesia Tbk (IDX:CPIN), PT Gudang Garam Tbk (IDX:GGRM), PT HM Sampoerna Tbk (IDX:HMSP), PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk (IDX:UNVR), PT Bukit Asam Tbk (IDX:PTBA), PT Timah Tbk (IDX:TINS) dan PT Ace Hardware Indonesia Tbk (IDX:ACES).
