JAKARTA (TheInsiderStories) – Indonesian opposition insists has enough evidence to challenge the General Election Commission (GEC) presidential election resulted on May 21. Previously, the commission has announced Joko Widodo – Ma’ruf Amin has won 2019 presidential election.

Evidence of structured, systematic and massive election fraud was collected and will be submitted tonight to be brought to the Constitutional Court, Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno told reporters at Prabowo Subianto’ home in South Jakarta, today (05/24).

“Today we will officially submit presidential election suit to the court tonight, with evidence of electoral fraud being collected by our team,” said Uno accompanied by deputy general chairman of Gerindra Party, Hashim Dodjohadikusumo, who will be in charge of the legal team that will process this fraudulent case in court.

Uno explained, the way to the court was taken as the only way to express disappointment over the course of the democratic process which is difficult to say to be honest and fair.

The public has witnessed injustice during the election process last April 17, he adds, and we call for a comprehensive evaluation on all aspects such as managerial data processing, logistical readiness, and other aspects that support the implementation of fair elections.

“This evaluation must be carried out for the sake of a better future for the nation’s democracy,” he noted accompanied by a number of his campaign teams.

“The peoples are very eager to participate in this democratic process because they hope for a change in the life they are living in,” he said.

Meanwhile, Dodjohadikusumo said the opposition legal team consisting of 9 people would be led by Bambang Widjayanto, the former head of the Indonesian Election Commission. He believes Widjayanto is very experienced and can win a lawsuit in court. This was supported by evidence of electoral fraud that had been collected by the opposition team so far.
