JAKARTA (TheInsiderStories) – The Indonesian government will set new tariffs for toll roads for 15 tolls roads across the nation this year. The policy will enforced by February 14, 2019 at 00.00 WIB, tweet the official account of PT Jasa Marga, on Monday (02/11).

According to Jasa Marga, this adjustment policy was made based on the decision of the Minister of Public Work and Housing No. 121/KPTS/M/2019 February 6, 2019. This step is considered appropriate to increase the performance of the company, because there is no law that prohibits and even has been regulated in Law No. 38 of 2004.

With the new policy, estimated that Jasa Marga’s revenue in 2018 can increase 13.7 percent year on year (yoy) and revenue in 2019 can increase 9 percent (yoy).

This tariff also considered to increase doesn’t become a negative sentiment for the company because everyone wants to not want a toll road, and will erode the company’s revenue growth for the next few years.

As for the 15 Jasa Marga (IDX: JSMR) project toll roads that will make tariff adjustments are Makassar Section IV, Gempol-Pandaan, Cikampek-Palimanan, Bali Mandara (Nusa Dua-Ngurah Rai-Benoa).

Then, there are Tolls in the City of Jakarta, Surabaya-Gempol, Palimanan-Plumbon-Kanci, Belawan-Medan-Tanjung Morawa, Serpong-Pondok Aren, Tangerang-Merak, Ujung Pandang Phase I and II, Jakarta-Tangerang, Jakarta-Bogor-Ciawi, Padalarang-Cielunyi, Cikampek-Purwakarta-Padalarang.

As planned that the policy will be applied first in three (3) toll roads, namely the Prof. Dr. Ir. Soedijatmo, Jakarta Outer Ring Road (JORR) Integration and Kamal 1 & 3 Integration Toll Gate.

For the Soedijatmo toll road, group 1 increased to Rp 7.500 from the previous Rp 7.000, group II rise to Rp 10,000 from the previous Rp 8.500. While Group III has a fixed tariff of Rp 10.000, while Group IV has a reduced tariff from Rp 12.500 to Rp 11.000, as well as Group V from Rp 15.000 to Rp 11.000.

Meanwhile, tariff adjustments also apply to the integrated JORR toll gate such as the Kapuk toll gate (integrated with the Jakarta City Inner Toll Road Tariff) are: Group I increased to Rp 17.000 from the previous Rp 16.500, Group II to Rp 21.500 from the previous Rp 20.000 and group III which remained Rp 25.500.

While groups IV and V have decreased, where group IV becomes Rp 30,000 from the previous Rp 31,500 and group V to Rp 34,000. This tariff increase also affects the Kamal 1&3 integration toll gate or is integrated with the JORR toll road tariff.

Based on the company data, the tariff adjustments based on groups are classified as follows: Group I consist of sedans, jeeps, pick up or small trucks and buses, Group II: trucks with 2 axles, group III: trucks with 3 axles, Group IV: trucks with 4 axles, and Groups V: trucks with 5 axles, and group VI: 2-wheeled motorized vehicles.
