JAKARTA (TheInsiderStories) - Indonesia Eximbank said it plans to raise Rp14 trillion and USD500 million by issuing bonds this year as a move to expand its financing activities.
In 2016, the company provided export guarantee of Rp8.13 trillion and export insurance of Rp9.43 trillion. The bank expects such services will increase by 7.9% this year, the bank’s director Raharjo Adisusanto said during an investor gathering as reported by detik.com.
As of end 2016, the bank’s assets reached Rp99.01 trillion, up 16.515 from previuos year of Rp84.97 trillionn.
The amount of financing provided in 2016 amounted to Rp88.48 trillion, up 18.2% from Rp74.83 trillion in previous year.
“Our strategy in 2017 is to focus on certain sectors and leading commodities as set by the government, supporting new market penetration and empowering SMEs with export orientation,” he said. (*)
