AIA Financial Holds Free Cervical Cancer Examination in Surabaya
June 14, 2012 (Press Release) - PT AIA FINANCIAL (“AIA Financial”) has again shown its positive contribution to the Indonesian people by conducting a “Free Cervical Cancer Examination” for various female communities in Surabaya and its surrounding areas.
As with its previous similar activity in Makassar, this activity is part of AIA Group “Healthy Living” campaign currently conducted in 15 markets in Asia Pacific – Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, China, Korea, Philippines, Australia, Indonesia, Taiwan, Vietnam, New Zealand, Macau and Brunei as well as India. This program is a manifestation of AIA Financial’s commitment to provide comprehensive protection for Indonesian people.

This cervical cancer examination will provide better education and awareness to women both single and married above 20 years of age to take a closer attention to their health, especially with regards to the risk of cervical cancer which is the number 2 most dangerous cancer affecting women globally*.
