Bank Rakyat Indonesia seeks fund from bond market $333m

The largest bank in micro lending, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (IDX: BBRI) is set to raise up to Rp 4.65 trillion ($333 million) from bond market in February, the company’s said in prospectus. The bond issuance is part of BBRI’s plan to raise Rp12 trillion in three years period, following a Rp3 trillion bond sale in 2015. The lender will start offering the bonds between Jan. 29 and Feb. 1 and list the bond in Jakarta bourse on Feb. 5, according to the prospectus. Joint lead underwriters for the bond issuance are PT Bahana Securities, PT Danareksa Sekuritas, PT Indo Premier Securities and PT Standard Chartered Securities Indonesia.
