JAKARTA (TheInsiderStories) - PT Astra International Tbk (IDX:ASII), a diversified business group, has decided to distribute Rp6.801 trillion as dividend for 2016 fiscal year. The decision was approved by the company’s annual shareholders meeting (AGM) on Thursday (Apr 20).
The dividend represents 44.87% of the company’s 2016 net profit of Rp15.155 trillion.
Astra said the dividend is equal to Rp168 per share. The dividend will be distributed in two phase, Rp55 per share as interim dividend which has been distributed on Oct. 21, 2016, while the remaining Rp113 per share will be paid to investors on May 19, 2017.
The remaining Rp8.354 trillion of the net profit will be allocated as retained profit. (*)
