JAKARTA - PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) obtained additional capital injection Rp23.56 trillion in revised State Budget for 2016, including non cash Rp 13.56 trillion after revalued their assets.
Chief Executive of PLN Sofyan Basyir said, the fund will be used to increase financing on Gas Engine Power Plant (PLTMG) projects in the border areas. He explained, PLN will build 2,000 megawatt (MW) of PLTMG in several locations. PLTMG development process is relatively short at around 2 years than building a coal-fueled power plant.
