The Insider Stories Morning Notes: JCI is likely to strengthen, Rupiah moves higher

JAKARTA (TheInsiderStories) - PT Asjaya Indosurya Securities analyst William Surya Wijaya sees the the condition of commodity price movements still looks will affect the motion of Composite stock price index (CSPI) today. He said, CSPI is likely to strengthen on Tuesday and to move within the range 5,078-5,267.

“JCI movement pattern is still visible post consolidated back pressure that occurs, upward momentum is still a technical rebound, but the potential increase still looks big enough for a medium-long-term time span, the condition of commodity price movements still looks will affect the motion of JCI,” William said.

He added, the number of shares that can be observed today are ASRI, ADHI, ASII, BBNI, JSMR, PGN, UNVR, INDF, BBCA stocks.

While, Bahana Securities estimates rupiah exchange rate against the US dollar in today’s trading will moved in the range Rp13,350 to Rp13,450, analyst of Bahana Securities Muhammad Wafi said in a research report.

As is known, the Rupiah climbed 22 points or 0.16% to a level of Rp13,406 after trading in the range of Rp13,381 to Rp13,461 per US dollar. Meanwhile, other currencies in Southeast Asia moved mixed. The Singapore dollar rose 0.07%, the Philippine peso weakened 0.16%, the Malaysian ringgit depreciated by 0.03%, while the Thai baht gained 0.21%.
