PT Semen Indonesia Tbk (IDX: SMGR) is targeting sales of cement in 2017 could grow up to 4 percent of total sales in 2016, which is targeted by the end of the year to reached 26.36 million tons. This means that the company expected to sell 27.4 million tons of cement in 2017. Corporate Secretary of Semen Indonesia, Agung Wiharto said, assuming a sale price of cement does not fall in the next year, the Indonesian Cement could pocket the revenue of approximately Rp 21.37 trillion. The price of cement itself this year is in the range of Rp 750,000 to Rp 780,000 per ton. He added, to drive sales growth, the state-owned company will increase production from two new factories company located in Rembang, Central Java and Indarung VI in West Sumatra. With the addition of two new plants are operational next year, the company installed capacity will increase to 35 million tons from the current capacity of 29 million tons.
