IDX: average daily transaction hit the highest record on Friday

Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) announced the average daily transaction frequency increased by 15.51 percent over the whole period from Nov. 7 to 11, 2016 to 354,000 transactions of 307 thousand transactions in the previous week. Increase in the average daily value of transactions supported by the frequency of transactions on Friday (11/11), which reached the highest record in the history of the Indonesian capital market is as much as 433,674 transactions at the previous highest record was recorded at 428,640 transactions.
The record average daily transaction value also recorded at Rp7.4 trillion per day with the previous highest record was created by Rp6.6 trillion per day. The average daily transaction volume also increased by 20.61 percent to 14.5 billion units of shares compared to 11.9 billion units of shares in the previous week. Performance of Composite Stock Price Index (CSPI) throughout the week recorded a change of 2.44 percent at 5,231.971 points compared to the previous week’s closing in on the position of 5,362.660 points. In line with the decline of JCI, the market capitalization of the Stock Exchange recorded a change of 2.49 percent to Rp5.658 trillion from Rp5.802 trillion in the previous weekend. Foreign investors recorded a net sell of Rp 3.7 trillion over the whole period from 7 to 11 November 2016.
