*10 listed companies included in the TOP TEN THE BLUE IDX IDX 2016. THE BEST BLUE 2016 is the company’s most in demand by investors in the past year. The ten companies are PT Astra International Tbk (ASII, Rp8.550, NEUTRAL, TP Rp8.200), PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BBRI, Rp12.200, NEUTRAL, Rp11,300), and PT HM Sampoerna Tbk (HMSP, Rp4,160, NEUTRAL, TP Rp3,750). Issuers are PT Matahari Department Store Tbk (LPPF, Rp19.125, BUY, TP Rp22.700), PT Pelat Timah Nusantara Tbk (NIKL, 715), PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN, Rp2,900, SELL, TP Rp3.400), PT PP Property Tbk (PPRO, Rp1.355), and PT Sri Rejeki Isman Tbk (SRIL , Rp208, BUY, TP Rp375). Two other companies are PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (TLKM, Rp4.390, BUY, TP Rp3.800) and PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk (UNVR, Rp44.925, NEUTRAL, TP Rp41.400). On the other hand, PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM, Rp825, NEUTRAL, TP 500) as the Best Top Ten Blue, 2016.
*Indonesia’s coal sector still faces challenges amid low commodity prices in the global market. Benchmark price of thermal coal at Newcastle index is predicted to be in the range of US $ 55 per ton to 2017. Despite an increase of 8.7% compared to 2015, but not as high as 2012, which reached US $ 93.8 per ton.
*Japanese shares closed higher in today’s trading on Tuesday, following weaker yen that drive the performance of exporters. The broader Topix index closed up 0.71% or 9.49 points to 1340.21, while inddeks Nikkei 225 closed up 0.83% or 136.98 to 16753.65 levels.
*PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI, Rp12.275, NEUTRAL, TP Rp11,300) plans to increase its capital to two subsidiaries namely PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia and PT Bank Rakyat Syariah Indonesia Agroniaga Tbk (AGRO, Rp338). According to the plan, the two subsidiaries will be injected capital BRI respectively, or a total of Rp500 billion to Rp1 trillion.
*Toyota Motor Corp said it would form a joint venture with Daihatsu internal. The Japanese automaker plans to create the new unit in January next year and will be led by Daihatsu recently this year entered the Toyota group.
