JAKARTA (TheInsiderStories) - Indonesian shares are expected to trade mixed today, with selective buying in some stocks are likely to be capped by falls elsewhere as some players may offload shares amid lack of fresh leads.
The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) closed up 50 points or up 0.93 percent on Thursday at 5,454.12, with transaction value reaching Rp6 trillion. The IDX data showed eight sectors recorded gains led by consumer and miscellaneous stocks, while mining shares declined.
As many as 170 shares rose, 166 stocks declined with 88 stocks were unchanged.
Bahana Securities said in its morning notes that the JCI is projected to be mixed today, moving within range of 5,425 support level and 5,475 resistance level.
