JAKARTA (TheInsiderStories) – Indonesian shares are expected to be mixed today, with shares gains supported by capital inflow are likely to be offset by moves of some investors to cash out ahead of holiday, analysts say. The market will be closed tomorrow for public holiday.
The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today is projected to trade between 5,676 – 5,797, Indosurya Sekuritas analyst William Surya Wijaya said.
The ongoing capital inflow and stable economy should continue to provide support to the market. Any market correction should provide opportunity for players to accumulate stock. “For today, there is chance for the market to go up,” he noted.
On Tuesday, the JCI closed down 18.83 poins or down 0.33 percent at 5,730, after moving within range 5,692-5,777.
The total transaction reached Rp7.37 trillion. As many as 122 stocks rose, 198 declined and 118 stocks were unchanged.
