JAKARTA (TheInsiderStories) – State owned railway company booked revenues of Rp14.5 trillion in 2016, up 4.3 percent from previous year of Rp13.9 trillion and Rp10.48 trillion in 2014. Its comprehensive net profit reached Rp1.02 trillion, lower than previous year of Rp1.5 trillion, but still higher than 2014 and 2013 net profit of Rp811.48 billion and Rp560.71 billion respectively. The largest contributor to the revenues were from passengers ticket sales. KAI Finance Director Didiek Harantyo said in the first quarter the company booked revenues of Rp5.4 trillion, up 25 percent from the same quarter last year.
